Aaron Gross
Aaron does TECHTALK’s Internet Commerce/Virtual Storefront segment.
Aaron has been around computers for 40 of his 43 years, hanging around the Dartmouth computer labs at the age of 3 when his father was getting his Ph.D. and John Kemeny was inventing the BASIC programming language. Aaron comes from a distinguished lineage of computer professionals, his father is Great Teacher Award-winning vice chairman of the computer science department at Columbia University and his brother set sales records for Quantex Computers. Aaron proudly includes his six children among a tiny list of true third-generation computer experts.
Aaron has a broad range of professional experience, working in management and development of both production and research projects in the following industries: banking, museums, health care, satellite broadcasting, electronic commerce and Internet development. Search Engine Marketing has been a special focus of his interest since 1997.
Prior media experience includes broadcasting Columbia University soccer games, winning The Newlywed Game with his wife, Jodi, and appearances on episodes of television’s The Dennis Prager Show.
Aaron has been involved with the Internet since it was called Arpanet and has focusing on the emerging arena of Internet commerce since 1994, winning design awards for web sites developed since the web’s “stone age” and continuing to do so.
Aaron prefers not to wear a tie when he works, but will do so if the situation warrants it.
